BICYCLE THEFT AT THE TRAIN STATION
Today, you decided to go into town without your bike, so you lock it with a suitable lock to the firmly anchored bicycle stand at the train station. Unfortunately, upon your return you find that this did not stop a thief from taking your bike with them during the day. You take pictures of the place where your bike was parked and report the theft directly to the police. Luckily, your bike insurance will reimburse you for the purchase price of the bike.

Getsafe offers the option to contribute to the costs of any claim. This is known as an excess or deductible. You might wonder why this option exists, but the answer is quite simple. The higher excess you choose when purchasing insurance, the lower your premium will be. You can choose from an excess of €0, or €250.
