How does it work?

Step 1 - Enter Details

Find your old insurance provider. Enter your name, address, and policy number.

Step 2 - Click on "Jetzt kündigen"

Follow all further steps, enter your email address and click on “jetzt kündigen” (cancel now).

Step 3 - Receive Confirmation

Our partner aboalarm will cancel the policy for you. You will receive an email once the cancellation has been sent. Please note that this is not the official cancellation confirmation from your old insurance company.

Step 4 - Enjoy Your Getsafe Coverage

In case you have not purchased your new Getsafe insurance already - now is the time! We recommend to choose a future start date that considers your previous insurer’s cancellation period.

Additional Information

The cancellation service above is provided by our partner aboalarm. Once you have filled out the template and provided all information needed, aboalarm will send the cancellation for you.

In most cases, you will receive an official cancellation confirmation from your current insurance company after a few days. This letter will then include the date when your current insurance will end.

When purchasing your new Getsafe insurance, we advise you to keep this cancellation period in mind. You may choose a start date within 3-6 months from now. However, we recommend you to purchase your new Getsafe insurance before cancelling your current insurance to make sure that we are able to provide you with coverage. If the cancellation period of your current insurance is longer than expected, we can still adjust your new start date with Getsafe.
