Whistleblower System of the Getsafe Group

Preliminary Information

The whistleblowing system described below is only for reporting violations by employees of the Getsafe Group, as well as its spin-offs. If you are not an employee and have a complaint or similar, we welcome your feedback on this page: Complaints Management.

In order to become aware of possible compliance violations, we provide internal and external whistleblowers at Getsafe with various reporting channels. Our whistleblower system is a web-based reporting channel that allows our employees and, in the context of outsourcing, the employees of service providers to submit anonymous reports on possible violations:

Possible misconduct can also be reported directly, via the Board of Management or via executives.

Whistleblowers acting in good faith may not be disadvantaged in any way.

In addition to the whistleblower system, all whistleblowers at Getsafe also have the option of reporting compliance violations directly to the ombudsperson. Here, too, confidential and anonymous reporting is guaranteed:

Information on Incoming Tips

We acknowledge incoming tips within 7 days. Final processing regularly takes place within 90 days.

The whistleblower system is managed as a reporting channel by Mr. Demuth, Ms. Mardt and Mr. Möthrath, who are also responsible for evaluating incoming reports.

The whistleblower system guarantees the anonymity of the whistleblower during communication. To ensure that this is also preserved by the content of the tip, care should be taken to ensure that no wording typical of the person is used and that neither the writing style nor the spelling allows any conclusions to be drawn. The same applies in connection with the submission of documents or images. These can also contain hidden data (so-called metadata), which contain information about the place and time of production, as well as the device with which the production took place.

In the context of a direct contact between the whistleblower and Mr. Möthrath as ombudsperson, anonymity is guaranteed by the obligation to professional secrecy. It should be noted here that this does not exist comprehensively with regard to the criminal prosecution authorities.
