*Offer details:
General: The switcher offer is available for all Getsafe customers who received an email from us containing the link to this page. To use this offer, the customer must purchase the new Getsafe insurance via the Getsafe app by 30 September 2020. The offer is valid for the following insurance products: liability insurance, contents insurance, legal insurance, dental insurance, bike insurance, accident insurance, dog liability insurance, and travel health insurance. The offer can be used for one or more insurance products.
Switcher bonus: The customer receives €15 in Getsafe credit for each newly purchased (“switched”) insurance product. The credit will appear in the customer’s account two months after the start date of the newly purchased insurance. The offer can only be used to purchase insurance products that the customer did not already have at the time the customer received this offer. Exploiting the offer by cancelling and repurchasing an existing Getsafe insurance policy is technically not possible.
Risk-free switching with no added costs: To avoid additional costs for customers who directly purchase a new insurance policy with Getsafe, the first 8 weeks of the newly purchased Getsafe insurance are free of charge. If the cancellation period of the customer’s previous insurance is longer than 8 weeks, the customer has the possibility to contact Getsafe’s customer support within this period of time to extend the free-of-charge transition period. To do this, the customer must provide the cancellation confirmation from the previous insurer to confirm the insurance end date.
Cancellation service: The cancellation service is provided by our partner aboalarm and is free of charge for Getsafe customers. Getsafe is not able to monitor or influence the cancellation process of the customer’s old insurer. The customer has to bear any additional costs that may arise due to the previous insurer’s terms of cancellation.
