Terms and Conditions for the Getsafe Refer-a-Friend Programme

Overview

Subject to the following terms and conditions, Getsafe Digital GmbH (“We”) offers an online referral programme that allows you (“the Referring Person”) to recommend selected products to friends, relatives and acquaintances (“Recipients”) via a referral link. All designations apply equally to all genders. As a thank you, we will provide you with a reward for each referred customer. The maximum reward per referred customer is €15 of in-app credits; if a recipient takes out more than one insurance product, you will still receive only €15 of in-app credits for that customer. The newly acquired customer also receives a reward of €15.

Who is eligible to participate?

Any person of legal age (18 or older) who is resident in Germany is eligible to participate.

Conditions for participation

To participate, simply click the “Invite Friends” button in your profile within the Getsafe app. You will then be redirected to the Refer-a-Friend program, where you can send the referral link to the recipients by clicking “Refer Getsafe.” A referral is only valid if you click the “Refer Getsafe” button and then send the referral link. Referrals made in any other form (e.g., simply by word of mouth) are not sufficient.

Entitlement to the reward

You are entitled to the reward if the recipient concludes a contract for one of the products via the referral link and the following further requirements are met: The contract is concluded when the relevant insurance company accepts the recipient’s offer; this usually happens within 30 days after sending the offer, though in individual cases longer processing times may occur. The recipient must have paid the first premium. If the contract is revoked, contested or otherwise cancelled retroactively, the entitlement to the reward shall lapse. You are not entitled to the reward if you refer yourself or a person living in the same household as you.

Amount and payment of the reward

The reward is generally €15 per acquired customer for the referring person and €15 for the referred customer. A reward limit of €15 applies per acquired customer; if a recipient concludes more than one contract, the maximum reward for acquiring this customer is €15. Each referring person may successfully refer up to 20 persons; referrals beyond this limit will not be remunerated.

The reward will be paid out as soon as all requirements have been met, in the form of in-app credits. Cash payment is excluded.

Validity and expiry of credits

In-app credits must be used within the statutory limitation period of three (3) years from the date of credit. Upon expiry of this period, the credits will forfeit without compensation. The limitation period commences at the end of the calendar year in which the credits were issued.

Credits are personal and non-transferable and cannot be gifted or inherited. In the event of termination of the user account, any unused credits will forfeit without compensation at the time of account closure.

We reserve the right to discontinue the referral programme at any time, subject to at least 30 days' prior notice. Notice will be provided by email or in-app notification. Any in-app credits already credited to your account may still be used within 60 days of the notice; after this period, the credits will forfeit without compensation.

Data protection

We collect, use and store your personal data only for the purpose of processing this referral programme. Any further use will only take place if you have consented to it or if we are required to do so by law. The same applies to the transfer of your personal data. Other

Subsequent referrals are excluded. In the event of non-compliance with the conditions of participation, there is no entitlement to the reward; rewards already paid out must be refunded on request. Further claims remain unaffected.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions where there is a legitimate reason to do so (e.g. changes in law, technical problems or misuse). Material changes will be communicated to you with reasonable advance notice. In the event of manipulation or serious misuse, we reserve the right to cancel the promotion without prior notice and to reclaim rewards already granted.
